The food here is fantastic. Best fried pickles I've ever had, hands down. The etouffee was also delicious. I would happily recommend this place to anyone who loves New Orleans food, you won't be disappointed!
First time here and loved it! Best shrimp and Grits I've had and I'm very picky. Had a long Island that only tasted like sweet and sour mix but the waitress redid the drink and it was good.
We were on a little day trip and wanted some seafood. We found this little gem. Captain Matt's Hurricane drink was very good (and very strong 😂) For starters, the duck fries were absolutely amazing. We never imagined the combination of ingredients would have been that good, but we didn't stop eating until it was all gone! Husband order the fried shrimp basket and I got a shrimp po'boy. The shrimp was perfectly seasoned and cooked. It was so good. Portions were generous.
The jambalaya over grits was too good and full of delicious local shrimp. Others in my party had the crawfish etoufee and shrimp po boy. Everyone enjoyed their meal and most of us had leftovers to take home since the portions are huge. Same friendly service as the North Charleston location.
Once again LoLa did not disappoint! My family and I love this place and us being New Orleans natives we definitely know New Orleans cuisine!Thank you for always making us feel like we are back home! If you want authentic New Orleans cuisine, you need to eat at LoLa!
Amazing, by far is the best meal we have had during our vacation. Huge portions and very delicious, got a dessert to go, so excited to try it.
Great find for us while passing through. We had the shrimp and grits and the shrimp basket. But meals were very good. Service was also very good as well. We'll worth the stop.
